Beginner Yoga: Great for all levels of students! Key elements of standing, forward bending, twisting and gentle back bending postures are taught along with classical sun salutations. Focus is on alignment and safety. For students new to yoga as well as experienced practitioners looking to deepen their understsanding of yoga fundamentals.
Intermediate Yoga: For experienced yoga students and students with keen body awareness and understanding of their bodies unique needs. Inversions, arm balances and deeper backbends are taught along with more complex yoga flows. It is recommended that students new to yoga try beginner classes before moving on to intermediate classes. If you're not sure if intermediate classes are a good fit for you, please ask!
Classes take place on the combat sport mats side of RISE and is limited to 14 sign ups for each program.
Instructed by Angela Hildebrand:
Angela is passionate about helping others live their best life. She is a registered yoga teacher through the Canadian Yoga Alliance and has over 600 hours of training. Angela began teaching yoga in 2009 and has been a student of yoga for over 20 years.
