My love of fitness and exercise began gradually after high school. It started out with at home body weight exercises and from there progressed to running and weight training. Along with this I developed a strong interest in nutrition.
I quickly realized that exercise and proper nutrition not only impacted me physically, but also improved my sleep, mood and confidence.
I love watching and guiding others to this realization as well; learning what their bodies are capable of when they give it a chance and put in the effort.
I pursued my personal trainer certification in 2018 out of an interest in fitness and strength training with no intention of using it for anything other than developing my knowledge for my own workouts. Now I am happy to be able to have the opportunity to use what I learnt then to help benefit others as a coach at Rise.
Outside of the gym I love camping by the lake with my family, travelling down south, and riding my Harley.
