About Coach
When I was 12, I started in taekwondo, as that was the only martial art in the area. I had been drawn to martial arts since I was really young. Bruce Lee was amazing. Then the night before my first taekwondo tournament, I saw this thing called UFC 1. There was a small guy named Royce Gracie, and he was up against a striker. He was also smaller than his opponent. I thought the match was over, then Royce beat this big guy. It made me think I need to somehow find the martial art and study it.
Years later in 2019, I started my BJJ journey. I got asked by someone what my goal was, “To get a black belt?” I said, “Yes”, but more importantly it was to be able to teach something to someone that will change their life or save their life.
Jiujitsu has changed my life for the better and I know what it can do for anyone that joins.
I also love spending time with my family when I am not on the mats!!!
