About Coach

I started my martial art career at four years old. At that time, my parents were just looking for a sport where I could have some fun and also spend my energy. However, that joyful activity brought me much more than they could ever imagine. At six years old, I started competing and never stopped until my adult age. After years of practicing at a competitive level, the natural path led me to start coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Since 2014 I have been teaching classes for kids and adults, mixed and woman exclusive group classes, and all levels of knowledge from beginners in their first steps until advanced programs for world-class athletes. When teaching, my primary focus is to help people develop personal growth based on the "Gentle Art" fundamental principles such as balance, control, efficiency, effectiveness, adaptation, and mutual support, in Jiu-jitsu the progress is a mere consequence of dominating those principles. Naturally, the students start making correlations between BJJ and their daily life challenges. Besides Martial Arts, I love to spend time with my family. I also love books and chatting about marketing and business.
