I first got into exercising just before my high school graduation when I started running, and learned to enjoy basic home workouts later on in life. I especially appreciated the improvement of my mental health. Years later I joined a two-month program at Rise after a friend prompted my husband me to try it. I completely fell in love with the friendly atmosphere, the balanced workouts, and the challenge of resistance training.
Knowing the benefits that exercise has brought me fuels my love of coaching and helping others to improve themselves in and outside of the gym. I take delight in seeing others enjoy their own workouts, and seeing clients push themselves more than they thought they could.
Outside of the gym I enjoy many hobbies including caring for my pets and plants, horseback riding, reading, art, music, and spending time with family and friends.
